Pediatric: 1 Full LIME GREEN MICROTAINER

Offsite Clinic or Other Locations:
Preferred: 4 mL blood in GOLD SST tube
Also Acceptable: 4 mL blood in ORANGE RST or LIME GREEN PST, RED TOP, LAVENDER TOP or GREEN TOP tube
Pediatric: 1 Full LIME GREEN MICROTAINER
Handling Instructions: Lab must process sample within 2 hours of collection.
Quantity: Requested: 1 mL serum/plasma
Minimum: 0.3 mL serum/plasma

Receiving Instructions: Refrigerate serum/plasma

Stability: If more than 72 hour delay is expected, Freeze serum/plasma at -20°C. Avoid Freeze/thaw cycles.
