Biotin is known to interfere with this assay. Patients should not take supplements or multivitamins containing biotin for at least 24 hours before blood collection.

Processing
- Receiving Instructions
Centrifuge sample promptly and transfer 0.5 mL serum each to a separate plastic aliquot. Freeze serum at -20°C.
Stability:
Frozen (preferred): 28 days; Refrigerated: 48 hours; Ambient: 24 hours
