Specimen Type: Blood
Collection: Collect 6 mL blood in GOLD SST or RED TOP tube
Quantity: Requested: 1 mL serum + 1 mL serum for Immunology
Minimum: 0.5 mL serum

Receiving Instructions: Centrifuge sample and transfer 1 mL serum each into two separate plastic vials. Store the Sendout aliquot (RHCAP) refrigerated and the Immunology aliquot (UW428) frozen.

Stability: Refrigerated (preferred): 6 weeks; Frozen and Ambient samples are also accepted (no stability limits provided).
