Pediatric: 1 Full LIME GREEN MICROTAINER

Offsite Clinic or Other Locations:
Preferred: 4 mL blood in GOLD SST tube
Also Acceptable: 4 mL blood in ORANGE RST or RED TOP tube
Pediatric: 1 Full GOLD MICROTAINER
Handling Instructions: The laboratory must process the specimen within 2 hours of collection.
Quantity: Requested: 1 mL serum/plasma
Minimum: 0.3 mL serum/plasma

Receiving Instructions: Centrifuge and separate serum/plasma within 2 hours. Refrigerate.

Stability: Room Temp: 8 hr; Refrig: 48 hr ; For long term storage Freeze at -20°C. Freeze/thaw samples
